Re: DL4 question



I'm quoting from the manual here(page four, first paragraph, second
sentence):
    "...when you find a sound you want to keep...press and hold one of the
memory location stomp switches for three seconds, and the setting of all
your knobs is committed to the stomp box's memory."
    If I'm reading that correctly, by doing this little 3-second stomp
routine, you will preserve that setting whenever you call up that 
particular
model, whether you assign that particular model to a stomp switch for
retrieval or not.
    By the way, gang, I'm about to review the Line 6 DL4 and MM4 for Guitar
World. Y'all probably know more about it via various newsgroup and web
postings than I will before the review is due (this Friday). Wish me luck.
