If you manage to get a good recording of a cat purring,
do let me know.  I've tried several times and never been
able to get anything usable!

The other thing I've wanted to do is to record the sound
of a dentist's drill as it sounds inside your head.  You'd
think a bone conduction mic would do that, right?

(These are all hypotheticals.  I have no cat now and my
teeth are apparently fine...)
