Wow- how cool! You might consider posting to the Electrix Forum with this- 
I
am sure plenty of people would be interested- heck- if the code is good
enough I bet you could get Electrix to support it as an Electrix app- 
maybe.

I would love to be able to audition loops on my pc as they would on the
Repeater- and not just going into the folder and playing 1 of the 4 tracks.
Maybe even just a select-and-hear type operation- click once on a folder 
and
hear the loops-
