yes, it does that sometimes when you use
reverse and retrigger together a lot.
Plays through the entire contents of the memory. 

Won't hurt your EDP to do this.

2) if the footswitches are a bit dirty, you might simulate a "param"
   press due to a slightly bad connection.

1) Boss FV-50L a is recommended feedback pedal, but try any volume pedal
     if you have one.
