That's a very good set-up IMHO.

I don't remember, but it is very simple because I usually figure it out
each
time I connect my rack devices. One issue is that the EDP midi out and midi
through works differently for midi clock syncing. I think it was something
with song start or the EDP mute function. Anyway, I like my set-up to stop
the repeater when when I mute the EDP so I can make lead instrument breaks
and kick in all loops on the following beat no 1. If it doesn't work like I
want with the midi out I just move the midi cable to the midi through and
vice versa ;-)

Yes, I think this is the midi prgr ch for the repeater's record switch. In
real life it's one entity off, higher or lower, compared to what is given
by
the manual. Be sure to download the pdf updates to the manual from the
Electrixpro site.

You'll have to. The repeater can't be controlled by midi note numbers (see
midi spec's).

But there is one very cool feature that is working with midi note numbers
and that is if you have a loop going in the repeater and push the pitch
button and select one track while sending midi notes. What happens then is
that the repeater starts to handle that track "as a sampler", pitch
shifting
it according to the midi notes you play. Only one track of the loop is
affected and the machine does the correct time stretching to keep the
groove
and loop length intact. This is also working for a track in recording mode.
I use to play with this with a midi guitar, recording the guitar audio
output into the repeater and at the same time having the generated midi
note
data pitch the loop. It can feel frustrating for the brain in a similar way
that you feel as a child when trying to play the piano with both hands and
think two melodies at the same time. Just try it out, it's a very funny
game
;-)

Another good advice for starting out is that feedback is handled
differently
by the RPTR. While the EDP adapts to the feedback setting all the time the
RPTR only does with the tracks that are in recording mode. So as for
setting
up your FCB1010, it's a good idea to have the same button you use for
selecting a certain track also arming one of the expression pedals to
control the feedback for the same track.

Best wishes
