Know what you mean,
..but Korg/Vox admit it's actually a fault,
..............and they won't fix.

Though it's probably only some sort of aliasing problem with their 
distortion.

Maybe it's my fault for coming up against the limitations of gear so often 
,
Mark's happy with his sound now anyway.
