If you like the feedback/overdub looping style of the Jamman you might  
like to check out Sooperlooper.

It's also fun to play around with different combinations of software. I  
found one set-up that I know I will go back to many times. It's Ableton  
Live as the AU host and provider of reverb, AU plug-in Augustus Loop  
from Expert Sleepers and finally the effect suite Pluggo from  
Cycling74. Here's a first-take guitar impro as an audio example of that  
combo, running two Augustus loopers going through Pluggos  
"SpeedShifter" and "Rye". The Augustus Loopers are pitch shifted from  
midi foot pedals while playing and looping.
