I think this is not correct. If you configure SwitchQuant
to Confirm Cycle or Confirm Loop you have the choice what
function will be performed while the new Loop is running.
One of them being Multiply.

This can be solved with SwitchQuant set to Confirm, too.

The EDP actually does have a PreviousLoop function:

PreviousLoop is only available through MIDI, and is located at
Source#+20.
