Re: glissentar

Paul,

I have no answers for your questions. Sorry. But I've also been checking out
Godin's Glissentars for the past few years since they were introduced. I go
to their booth at each NAMM show and spend 45 minutes there just fiddling
on that instrument alone. I just haven't broken down and bought one yet.
Please keep us posted on your adventures with your new toy. I assume you'll
be looping with it. Congrats on acquiring it! Looking forward to hearing more.

Best regards,

Greetings. Just picked up a "Glissentar" and had a couple questions for
those on the list who've had these for a while. 1) where to get
replacement string sets. 2) recommendations on  custom guages you've
come up with to suit your situation: ie: tonal requirements, tunings
etc. Thanks. - Paul
PS: Just had it a couple days now but having a ball - I like the fact
that it's far enough removed from "normal" guitar playing to limit
wholesale crossover of technique/ compositions but still feels
"familiar" - lots of new fresh ideas. - Paul
