That's true, but apparently this new box will allow you to play more
than one loop at a time, and these loops can be sync'ed or unsync'ed. 
On the EDP, it'd take several parameter changes to go between sync'ed
and unsync'ed.  And, you'd only be able to play back one loop at a
time.
