Subject: Condensor Microphones fro Live Room Recording

I'd like to plug some better microphones into my M-Audio microtrack...it has phantom power and can handle condensors. Can anyone recommend some affordable, yet decent quality micrphones to pear in stereo? This would be for recording jazz duos and trios (guitar/sax or guitar/sax/drums) in a small studio room.

I've read some good things about the AKG C1000s.  http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/C1000S
