i love this box.....no it is not a foot pedal and yes it is lots more than a pitchshifter.....if you are inputing a stereo signal you then have: "mix" how much clean signal gets thru 100%-0%  and also 2 more knobs that each change the pitch (-1octave/+ 1 octave *sort of*) for either of the stereo inputs.....so you can have 3 "playable" pitches.....as a post loop effect it's great also.....plus you have many other "super cheese" to quite nice effects that can be played in real time with knobs.....that on further thought can be manipulated with your toes.....:).....michael
