Yup, I know that the EDP clears all of the loops once you shut it down.

I might end up buying a sequencer, pre-record each loop for the various instruments, and then assign them to a button. I'd like to keep everything live though, without pre-recorded loops, but it seems that setting this up might be a bit complicated. Essentially, I want to record a loop on the edp, send that audio to the sequencer, assign 'loop x' to 'button x' and be able to trigger/mute 'loop x' at my discretion. It would be a lot easier than copying each loop to the next loop (loopcopy), and trying to undo/replace certain parts of a particular loop.

Is there any way to run this kind of setup live? I know that the audience wouldn't be able to tell that I have pre-recorded loops, since I will eventually be playing each loop at some point in the song, i.e. I will never run into an instance where the loop is triggered without me actually playing it first.

I like the idea of having the loops pre-recorded so that I can trigger them at a later point, but I want to know if it's possible to record a loop in the EDP, dump it / assign to a button, and then have that loop/button at my disposal for later use.
