Why not present a paper, do a demonstration, or perform at 
electro-music?  August 14 - 16 in Kingsport, TN.  See 
http://event.electro-music.com for information.  Perhaps if you organize 
a bunch of loopers, there might be a room at the event that could 
(partially?) be dedicated to looping.  Plus, there is always the jam 
session room.
