I was thinking, after I replied, that maybe he meant the slide got switched in transport whilst being jostled with other equipment.

I leave mine on low record setting and normalize the music later. And, if you run straight out of a board, it sounds great.

I really like the mics on the H2, nice full sound,
so I'm happy with mine, and use it a lot.

..but it's big fault is that the volume control is in the digital domain, which is totally useless and just needs
to be left at 100 (unity gain).
That means that you only have a 3 position volume control for mic recording,
and none for the line input( which is -10dB with zero headroom before clipping).

The limiter is also digital, so not usable.

On a more positive note, the new Asio drivers (which need the latest firmware download)
work with very low latency, so it works well as an audio interface for looping.
