I never synced an EDP with an RC-50 but I have synced several synths and a 
TC D2 delay with the RC-50 and it works fine, the midi clock is very 
stable and accurate.

But you should know that the RC-50 can only be synced when it's the midi 
master. Slave mode does not work well due to the fact it needs a midi 
start message before it will sync it's clock.
