Do you actually loop with the instrument you are most proficient on? (Re: What would loopers do without power?)

I use different instruments for the varying expression they bring. But
the music in my mind never changes as I learn new instruments, it was
there from the childhood even before I came to hear explicit music.

When thinking a second time about your question I'm realizing that I
even consider looping "just another instrument" ;-))   ...as well as a
meta instrument.
