I think I would use my LP1 in stead of the sequencer of the HPD-15. Than 
I'm pretty sure that the percusion track is synced with other tracks.

Q: I suppose you can program a midi note number per pad division? In that 
case  I could also use it as a controller to trigger sounds in a synth.
