Well, I have been messing with this for too long now. I can get it working 
but it always hangs up. I used asio and direct sound. I really do not 
understand the url code, I read and tried alias making, I used various 
sample urls from the readme text etc. and it always hangs up. I check the 
fix hang up box in the line in config and it hangs up after a few minutes 
anyway. I did my best, arrgh.
i don't want to crowd the list with my ignorance so any help off list 
would 
be great.
