Re: echoplex problems

1.  i switch between using 2 recording channels and 3  so 2L and 3L
-sometimes i'll record something and some of my old loops will come back
followed by a horrific white noise that sounds like glass shattering.

I also have this occasionally, I dont know when or why, but I seem to get it when the edp has not been on for long. I put it down to it getting (accidentally) to a part of the memory that hasnt been used yet, and apparently THAT sounds like "horrific white noise". I often play at Noise events, and actually it once went down rather well!! ha ha! AND i think its true that it only occurs when you are using multiple loops, Ive never had it when noodling around in one loop.

MY SOLUTION: And is as a result often the way I start a gig, (ok ALWAYS) is to play for a while with headphones on to fill up the memory, over dub a bit.. whatever.. anyway. THEN you can reset the loop and you never get that noise...

If I could get it on demand I might quite like it! ha ha!!!
