Re: Firewire mystery question

I still dont know if my firewire PCI card was at fault or not, meanwhile
RME claims their card is not at fault(although i had to send it once
already for repairs before the warranty was even due)so now they sent it
back from repair and charged me 150.-eur but guess what?it istill didnt
work! Now they are saying their card worked perfectly when they tested it
and that it must be my PCI card. Now i had to resend it back but they said
if they have to repair it again is going to cost me just as much or
more(gotta love their great fuckin customer service and their friendliness)
what is puzzling me is that i conected the RME to my macbook and my
macbooks firewire was also fried which i had to send out for repair(thank
god i had the protection plan)so i dont know what to think now and how to
prove it but i am going nuts with this crap!
