oh, sure...nobody can disagree with this.  but the listening public is, on the whole, a collection of non-discerning nitwits.  i guess i could be wrong, but i like to think the people hurting mariah carey's cd sales are not the same people file-sharing another green world...actually, any record he's made that's worth listening to was probably purchased back when stealing meant stuffing the record in your shirt and walking out of the store ; )  i like to think of eno listeners are upstanding folk who will buy the music, which sort of precludes him from the discussion.  here again, i'm thinking that i am gravely mistaken.
