Exactly. When I moved from Digital Performer to Logic, I made a list of 
the (roughly) ten most important things I need do for my typical work 
flow, and figure out how to do those. I used that to get up and running, 
and learned additional bits as needed. I found that much less painful 
than sitting down for interminable sessions with a gigantic manual.
