Re: Favorite Loop Show of the Year

I recall you talking about her around last year's Y2K, that's a really neat artist profile.  The top of it seems to be people falling in love with her voice and vocalizations among her use of technology.  Reminds me of Suzanne Vega in a sense when she burst on the seen years ago as this sort of angelic songstress except here Juana has embraced and uses technology which is timely and really cool.

Most of my experience with looping and looping awareness has been primarily this community so people I've seen or come to know for the most part are among us.  Some timely memories of the last year for me and part of this one were, Mark Hamburg's closing set at last year's Y2K, Margaret Noble's turntable and other set at same festival, Stanasaur's use of 'noise', recent uStream's segments by Jeff Duke, Rainer Straschill, Matt Stevens and Steve Moyes, particularly the latter had some bearing on me revisiting Mobius and using it on my set today.

Because of all of you I've had a greater awareness and curiosity about technology and bringing it into my muse.
