Re: Help with Glitch/Stutter technique Kaiser square mod

OK tried it... very interesting... but it doesnt really work as you explained.. it didnt really jump in pitch... remember its NOT a delay changing speed here, (one drawback of the vortex is that it wont do that actually... bout the only thing it wont do however.. makes a lovely cupper...) its a pitch change thru modulation... no this is more like a rapid pitch squelch.. which made a really cool rythmic effect actually...
thanks Andy...

You now have a pedal activated varispeed echo,
the effect gets greater on shorter delay times.

with the below described technique it works like this

so, save that to both sides of a pair of registers,
with Morph=64 ( which is fastest..right?)

de-assign pedal to Resonance2.

on reg A,
Resonance2 = 1
on reg B
Resonance2 = 64

now, when you engage the GrobSquareWaver you get
the Kaiser effect.

Or something like it,
or something different, I can't be 100% sure,
but you'll like it I hope.

Sarky booger Butler!!!

Actually I do things like this all the time, and Andrew, I mostly do it with your beloved Vortex!!! I have one synched to an EDP (using the Grob Cable) but instead of sunthing the tap tempo, i trigger the morph AB.. with wildly different settings on A and B patches I get that squarewave mod thing.. I tell ya thats from Glitchingtonville Arizona...
