Re: Trying software again.. YIKES!!!

Yes, Mac is simpler. OS X already has built-in MIDI channels through
the system. It's called "IAC Bus" and if not ative you have to
activate at least one IAX Bus port. That is done by opening
"applications / utilities / Audio MIDI Setup". In that application you
go "Window / Show MIDI Widow". Double-click the IAC Driver icon and
check in the box named "Ports" (for a Port... I'm not going to fast am
I? ;-) If no IAC Bus port is listed there you click below on the +
sign labeled "Add and remove ports" (to remove a port you would have
to click the - sign, but we're not doing that today). Ok then, close
down the Audio MIDI Setup. Now when you open Mobius you will notice in
the MIDI Devices window that a new port is available. Select it (the
newborn IAC) as "Plugin Output". In Audio Mulch there is probably a
window where you set up MIDI ports to be used by the application; make
sure newborn IAC is allowed to play with the boys in the mulch. Then
there has to be a window in Mulchy where you set up synchronization
preferences; set newborn IAC as the port where Muchie should look for
MIDI Clock master sync. If there is a box for "MIDI Slave mode" tic it
as well while you're at it.
