Re: Voltage Selector For Oberheim Echoplex

Hi,
Just wondering my EDP is now set to 240v. What happens if a 250v power cable is used? can it be done? will it fry my unit? Thanx.

Hi,
Yeah it's on the back. I'm a bit scared to touch it. But might as well try. Mine was originally set to 115v when i received it (is yours the same? 115v and 240v). Thanx a lot for your help.

is there not a simple switch on the back marked as 120 that you slide over with a small screwdriver to read 240? there is on mine

Hi,
I just got the oberheim echoplex from the US. The only problem i'm facing is that the voltage in Malaysia is 240v and the echoplex i got is 120v. Is there any voltage selector on the oberheim echoplex so i can change it? Thanx.
Halimski.
