Re: OT: Free Jazz/Avant-Garde Guitar/Bass/Drum Trios

And there's "Speechless" credited to "Fred Frith with Massacre".  However, it's only side 2 tunes with Lawell and Maher and there's a horn trio on most of those songs.  Side 1 is mostly with Etron Fou Leloublan, a French avant-rock quartet.

Okay, now I'm really frickin' jealous.  ;)

Group name = Massacre
Albums:
    Killing Time (1981)
    Funny Valentine (1998)
    Meltdown (2001)
    Lonely Heart (2007)

Also, just read about another trio Frith formed with Kato Hideki (bass), and Ikue Mori (drum machines) called Death Ambient.  Haven't heard that one yet, however.
