smallest looper

smallest looper-
well, that's be either the boss rc-2 unit
or the new digitech jamman solo:
http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/DigiTech-JamMan-Solo-Looper-Guitar-Effects-Pedal?sku=423429
which i see mf.com has it at $185.00...
not a bad price for a new unit, looks like they are competing w/ the boss unit...

reviews on the jamman solo have been good that i've read (note, does say "power supply included" so i wonder if that means no batteries?)

as for small/portable: a few yrs ago there was a short article in GP by barry cleveland talking about going to europe for some gig, and he had in carryon his small scale guitar (can't remember how small) and the rc-2, loaded w/ some loops and he said as he sat there on the plane he was able to practice/run through songs for his gig. so that's portable and usable....

other option for small-i just saw that the guyatone md-3 delay (2.6 sec) is on sale for 69.99 at musiciansfriend:
http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Guyatone-MD3-Micro-Digital-Delay-Pedal?sku=155035

it has 2.6 sec of delay time, not a true looper, but i have one and have used....so an option...it could be something that you make short crazy loops, dump them to the mini-KP and away you go.....
good luck.
