Re: the smallest looper



I'd say that in terms of size alone, you're looking at either the 
Zvex Lo-Fi Loop Junky, or the Audio Damage Junk-Fi Looper.  Both are 
built into the standard size 'MXR'-style stompbox case.

In that sense I'll disagree a bit as to outright smallness regarding 
the Boss RC-2, since I always considered the MXR stompboxes smaller 
than the Boss.  YMMV, of course.

As for functionality, both the Loop Junky and the Junk-Fi are 
*extremely* limited.  You can only record and manipulate a single 
loop, with no feedback or overdubs.  They are better used for the 
sonic character and grunge they impart on the loop, IMNSHO, which can 
be quite interesting.  Although both are pretty convenient too, if 
you just wanna throw one in a backpack.

If you want more functionality, go for the RC-2 or Jamman.
