If your stereo mixer output comes as two tele cables:
Solder a 2 to 1 cable adapter, also called "Y adapter".

If your stereo mixer output comes as one stereo tele cable:
Go buy a "monofication plug" (stereo to mono). Any music store should
have them. Even some radio stores might.

If your stereo mixer output comes as two XLR cables:
Buy a switcher box in a music store. They may be a bit pricey since
the usually double up as empowered direct in box that supports 48v as
well as line level and sometimes instrument level too. (I have owned
one by MXR since -74 that still works like a charm... but I don't need
it with the lappy).
