like i said i phoned Behringer and said whoever gave you that information is putting your gear at risk,the european behringer fcb1010s are not made to work in the U.S...
but i see what you mean in the manual,the problem is the tip of the fuse compartment that locks it broke off in my unit,though everything still works and dont know if this is critical...
think ill just use Ricks transformer over there and plug all the guacamole together!

My FCB too also reads "230 v" on the rear panel. It is in the manual
it is explained how to change it for US current. Put in a new and
appropriate fuse and swap the holder to match US standard. I totally
understand that they do not dare to write out that on the rear panel
because you really have to use the correct fuse to match the voltage -
or you will fry the board, like Zoe did ;-)
