If you´re looking for a save and easy to handle looping-device with lots 
of 
options,
like storing f.inst., I would recommend the RC 50. And it´s not expensive 
too.
The thing is, you can rely on it. It works.
If I need my synthie-sound loops to be more round, more smooth, I rather 
go 
for
my RC 20 Delay functions.
But all in all the RC 50 is a clever apparature and a good compromise.
