Re: mobius scripters...help please.... :O)

ok, this is weird. i was doing some testing and the scripts didn't work with mobius hosted in bidule - i was getting some very strange behaviour

so i ran mobius as a standalone and the normal quantisation behaviour worked fine. reverse and rate changes happen when they're supposed to, depending on the quantisation value. the scripts also worked as well.

so i went back to running mobius hosted in bidule and the quantisation value is ignored again!

do i have to set something up in "plugin parameters"? to resolve this?

thanks jeff

the thing is, it doesn't matter what i have the quantize parameter set to, these functions always happen instantly. i usually have the quantize parameter set to subcycle and the value is either 4, 8 or 16. recording on synced tracks happens at the subcycle boundary, as it should, but reverse and rate shifts always happen instantly. i'd like these to always happen at the loop boundary, so my tracks stay aligned, so i'll make some scripts for them, as suggested

many thanks!

The scripts Per posted will work, but can also just set the Quantize

preset parameter to Cycle, Subcycle, or Loop.  If you can live

with having a single quantization value for all functions then

this is all you need.
