Re: Wanted: Simple Multiple Sample Playback Software

Pers run down is basically correct, strange non-mulch terminology, but explanatory.

I think trying to compare it with either Abelton or mainstage is basically flawed, although I must say that I do use AM a bit like some use Abelton, when I think about it, its just such a HUGE difference.

@Andy I dont think its true to say that you canīt patch it how you want, its built in modules have all the right ins and outs and midi connections, and imported VSTs (no AUs) reveal all their ins and outs, for you to connect willy nilly (great underused expression).
But what would be true to say is that the modules are PRE built modules, like a looper, or a fuzz, or a delay, and in AM you dont have any more access than the ins and outs. (In that respect like Mainstage I suppose)
The advantage of Bidule (or Synthedit which I use, but want to switch to Bidule) or max/msp or pd, or supercollider , if you can call it an advantage, is that you can build your own.. er thingy, that is a dual phase fuzz switch decade delay with fairy nibbliting on odd outputs and brink basting hobgobblins on the even outputs, with parameters being continuously varied based on skin resistance, proximity to mobile phone radiation, and analysis of words beginning with G.

And after three months of development, a workshop in STEIM, a grant application,  you discover it sounds a bit like SUS Replace...

Anyone wanna try my VSTīs, PC only.. very odd... may not still work...
