RE: EME moonbounce?



It turns out that the signal degradation is so severe that morse code is the only thing that has a chance of getting through :-(
Someting like a 250dB signal drop!

Ham radio folks have been doing it for a long time.  Maybe ask around a Ham site.

OK, this might be totally technically naiive but with a time delay of around 2 seconds it IS possible to bounce radio signals offf the moon.
Does anyone here know what sort of fidelity the resultant echo would be ? - you can see where I'm going with this...
