Sim,

I asked this exact question a long while ago, so Jeff (I think it was) kindly wrote this script for me;

!name Insert SubCycle
Variable saveQuantize quantize
set quantize off
Wait subCycle
InsertOnly
Wait subCycle
Record
set 8thsPerCycle 8thsPerCycle + 1
set quantize saveQuantize

ok, having figured out, thanks to jeff, how to trim the end off a loop, i'm wondering if it's possible to add a bit on?

insert only seems to work with cycles and i'd like to add on a subcycle. is the only way to do this with a quantised bounce that lasts for one cycle + one subcycle?
