ableton looper question

Hi folks,
In experimenting with Ableton one of the thigs im finding a bit
ackward to deal with is the presence of the plugins when changing
tracks.
Just like on a pedalboard i would like to have a constant visual
control of the looper and the plugin fx regardless of the current
track status,is quite frustrating loosing sight of them as i trigger a
scene or clip or whatever.
Im quite new to this so all of your expert tips are welcome!
