Re: korg monotron

I had my hands on one for about 10minutes and wound up not buying it.
That the keyboard is a ribbon and not individual keys was a real drawback; real keys would've been nice, as they had in the demo video I saw, but I guess that was a pre-production version.
And I do have rather unco-ordinated mitts for hands, so the teeny-tiny control dials left me thinking I'd probably snap them off in short order.

the other ted.

Or would you sing somethin' different. Somethin' real. Somethin' *you* felt. Cause I'm telling you right now, that's the kind of song people want to hear. That's the kind of song that truly saves people. It ain't got nothin to do with believin' in God, Mr. Cash. It has to do with believin' in yourself. Sam Phillips, "Walk the Line"

Hey, has anyone else played with the monotron?  What did you do with
it?  I think it would be a fun sound source for loops, without sitting
behind a laptop, of course.
