afaik the clapperboard is no longer needed in Hollywood,
as SMPTE (absolute time code)takes care of things.

Lacking SMPTE, what I do is
a) Export camera audio as .wav
b) load it into a multitrack editor, along with the high
   res audio.
c) line up wave forms, and save a version of the hi-res file
that has the exact same start/end as the camera audio.
d) import hi res sound to movie project, ...should now be in sync.

Todd's vid has great sound anyway tho'.
