Originally I wanted to play lute duets while busking.

which pieces?

There are heaps of them, particularly treble and grounds would work well with a looper. Dalza has a nice one that could be improvised on (just one chord). If I could refresh my memory and work back up the Pasymeasure's Pavan by John Daniel it would be a killer. Would have been, I should say.
You can hear the beginning of that at this outdated location: http://www9.plala.or.jp/edurbrow/luteCD.html
Anyway, the busking scene is no good here anymore so I never did use the looper with it.
Hey, you just gave me a good idea: a video loop of the ground and split screen with the treble on the other half.
Thanks,
