I'm really loving mine, I have to say, but I helped to design it, so I 
may be prejudiced.

Important, though, to say is that I think the beating it has taken at 
the Gear Page
comes largely due to 3 things:

1) the incredibly long delay between announcing the unit and it's actual 
successful
entry to the marketplace

2) the fact that Bob Amstadt was largely incommunicado for the past year 
due to
the stress of his job,  personal life and thwarted attempts (backordered 
parts, mostly)
to get the unit to the marketplace due to his decision to get it working 
and shipping before
he took care of the voluminous e-mails he was receiving.  He took a 
calculated risk
making this policy in an effort to get it to market and it was a risk 
that didn't help him
with the vocal GearPage members who posted.

3) the fact that a few defects were missed in the first shippings,  
requiring Bob to replace
or refund people's money.  I, myself, had to wait a long time to get a 
properly working unit
and I was first on the list to receive one.

Towards that end, I wrote a very long explanatory message to the 
GearPage forum today addressing
in great detail all of these issues.

I'd direct you there to read it.

The fact, though, is the bugs have been worked out and Bob is already 
shipping units.

I'm hoping in the next few busy weeks to begin making an online tutorial
for how to use the looper for those in the future who wish to try it out.

It still has amazing bang for the buck in a $300 looper.   There's 
nothing close to it
in the price range, no matter what is said about it.

Is it perfect?   No, but there never has been a perfect live looping 
machine.
Does it do a hell of a lot for it's price.  It sure does.

I recommend it and am only sorry that a few people were unhappy with the 
lack of communication
and the defective units that were sent out, initially.
