Looper's Delight misconception

Hello. So, if Livelooping is having all the newer information, and 
loopers-delight.com 
isn't, then how come this mailing list (from Looper's Delight) still 
thrives, and people are adding and deleting 
Looper Profiles all the time? Why would a mailing list thrive, even though 
it's part of a website 
stuck in 2006? I don't like it that the site is stuck in 2006. I joined 
the mailing list 
anyway, and it was thriving!
