Re: How often do you listen to your own music?

I never listen to my own recorded music. But when producing a
recording, where I am participating as a musician, I can't avoid
listening to it a lot.

I prefer silence or recorded music that I have not heard before. On my
computers and iPhone live a big number of podcast subscriptions to all
kind of music programs. I also use the Soma.fm iPhone app and the
SoundCloud iPhone app. Typical such listing occasions are right after
getting out of bed while I shave, take a shower and make breakfast.
When the breakfast is ready for eating I normally turn off the music
because I start working during the eating phase (modern time
optimization). I can plug the iPhone into the practice Roland Street
Cube if in need for more juice. I do have top class studio monitors
plus a PA handy I also do enjoy listening on crap fidelity like the
iPhone or Street Cube.
