Yes. Any command that you can find in the MIDI Bindings window listing
at "Configuratio / MID Control" can be assigned a MIDI event for
external control.

You can also create a script (of whatever crazy actions you want to
perform on the same pedal switch) and assign the script in the MIDI
Bindings window.

So there's not much you can't do, really :-)
