Had to look up IVL.

I hope we get to implement such functions to Evoloop eventually.

the proc should be able (it will have float to do FFT…)

and since it does not need to work in real time, only applied to the loop,

as pitch change is controllable in real time
then the pitch shift would be real time.

If we're talking about a 'parallel track' that contains pitch
info then a loops worth of data needs to be calculated in the time
of one loop. (because the worst case that needs to be cared for
is that Record is ended with "PlayShifted")

I don't think FFT is desired.

Also, what happens to Overdub when pitch shift is running?
:-)

should be rather easy without IVL -

well, a high quality mono-shift would be nice,
but more often the audio in the loop is polyphonic..
worse than that, a full mix.

The IVL thing is for mono voice, and benefits from
the particular waveform of the voice.

your kind of job, Andy?

I guess so.
I'll have a play with that pitch shift algorithm I did for the hex guitar
plugins.
