Re: BeatBuddy: The First Guitar Pedal Drum Machine

Rusty,
I've buy one the first day, so I will receive in April 2014.
If you want, I will study the midi implementation and tell you what we can do to drive the pedal with a midi pedalboard.

This sounds soooo cool!
If anyone has an email adress for these guys, I'd love to write to them.
I'd love to have a drum machine at my feet, but as a blind guy, I'm
concerned about how difficult it would be to use without seeing the
screen. Wondering how midi capable it is and whether some well
programmed midi buttons could help me use it well.

It's fun to play with a drum machine that shifts between patterns in
its own way! I've done that a lot with the software iDrum. I don't
know more details about BeatBuddy but iDrum works like this: when the
full playlist for a typcial song is finished it simply keeps looping
the full song playlist. I like that for improvising along with the
box. You may run the full drum mix thoruh a lowpass filter, or
similar, to create parts on the fly; like if you need to bring out the
drums for a while or go into a break-down section or whatever.
