Doesn't make sense,
the VST Host is the file player.

Not saying such a thing does not exist though.
Would melodyne vst do it?


In Bidule I'd do this by setting up some audio meters and delays, say 4,

file player
meter1>>delay1
meter2>>delay2
meter3>>delay3
meter4>>delay4>>audio output.

then the meters would go 1-2-3-4 and you hit the chord ;-)
