I love these long wandering threads, it shows me that LD is as it always has been, one of the most intellectual and thought-provoking group of people on the web. I have changed my opinion on this issue 3 times thoughout the course of this one thread, going from Grr I hate mp3, bring back vinyl... to ahh well yes.. the trees... the carbon... and back to... well thats a good point too..

I was just about swung in favour of files and mp3s, then Apple bring out the iPad... Christ... what nonsense... more trendy connectivity for the bus ride to work... 

..or is it... touch screen metasurface anyone?

One thing though, can people remember to intelligently quote from the previous post, and not just hit REPLY.. I agree...  SEND... (and dont change the topic)
