Steve,

I just got through listening to Symmetria and I have to say it
is downright inspiring. This is no idle flattery or sycophantic complement,  just
ernest recognition by a fellow musician.  It is completely captivating and
sounds for lack of a better descriptor, “complete”. Those overtones will haunt
my sleep tonight.
I love the textures and movement you have created, but most of
all, I love how well crafted it is as an elegant “finished” composition. I have
honestly not been this impressed  with a piece of music since I heard “ethnic
stew and brew” by the Roy Campbell pyramid Trio. (With William Parker and Hamid
Drake laying it down). Your playing actually bears a striking resemblance to
Parker’s if you don’t mind my saying, but with its own unique spice.
I am going to make a point of flying out to see one of your
shows in person.  Bravo!

To all the rest of you aficionados , this is likely not news,
but if  by some shortsight you have not already heard this masterpiece, change
your plans for the evening and sit down with a good pair of headphones or
monitors.  Get ready to be blown away. (www.steveuccello.com)

  Hi
  everyone, I’m
new to this looping game so I have no idea how large this community is or who
the gurus are, but I’m excited to find out.  I’m not sure what the
etiquette is so I thought I would just roll the dice and post my first
  question. I’m
confident someone here knows the answer to this: I
now  finally have two echoplex digital pros and I’m really looking
forward to running them in stereo in the effects loop of my mixer. The
problem is that one is an original oberheim with loop 3 v.5 on it that does
not have full memory capacity and the other is a gibson with loop 4 and 16
  mb. I
ordered the memory today to upgrade the older echoplex to 16mb but I’m trying
to figure out if I can sync the two devices despite the different software
  versions. If
not, is loop 4 still available? Also,
any advice any of you could offer about running stereo echoplex setup would
  be greatly appreciated. I
have studied the section in the manuals ad nauseum but was hoping for some
  tips and tricks. Thank
  you, Ace
